It consisted of seven races, including the Indianapolis 500, and also included many parallel categories, including the [[Champion Elimination Medals Championship]], whose effect was not noticeable, as there was not a previous champion to eliminate, and the [[Mediocrity Awards]], won by [[Johnny Claes]]. It consisted of seven races, including the Indianapolis 500, and also included many parallel categories, including the Champion Elimination Medals Championship, whose effect was not noticeable, as there was not a previous champion to eliminate, and the Mediocrity Awards, won by Johnny Claes. Giuseppe Farina won the overall championship.
