Peter Walker

Peter Douglas Conyers Walker (7 October 1912 in Leeds, died 1 March 1984 in Newtown) was a British racing driver who briefly competed in Formula 1 from 1950 to 1951. Competing first for EXTRAS then Hampshire Racing Alliance, he is best known for winning the 1951 24h of Le Mans with Peter Whitehead. He retired from competitive racing after an accident at the 1956 24 Hours of Le Mans.
