James "Jimmy" Jackson (born 25 July 1910 in Indianapolis, died 25 November 1984 in Desert Hot Springs) was an American racing driver who competed in the Indianapolis 500 between 1946 and 1954. Finishing second on his first attempt, his results steadily deteriorated. In 1952, he failed to qualify. After a shared drive with Duane Carter in 1954, he switched to SCCA until 1960, without success.
He competed at Indianapolis while it was a World Championship event. In 1950, driving for the Kurtis Kraft works team, he retired early on after a collision with Mauri Rose, but in 1951, driving for Ferrari America, he qualified fourth, len ten laps and finished second behind teammate Troy Ruttman.
