Joe Kelly

Joe Kelly (born 13 March 1913 in Dublin, died 28 November 1993 in Neston, United Kingdom) was an Irish racing driver who competed in Formula 1 from 1950 to 1951. He was a legend in Ireland, a pioneer as the first Irish Formula 1 driver. Competing exclusively for Irish teams, he drove for All-Ireland Motorsport (later to become Reatherson Racing Developments) before finishing his F1 career with Irish Racing Cars. His racing career was ended in a crash at Oulton Park in 1955. He retired from motorsport and focused on his business commitments.
