The 2019 AutoReject World Series season will be the 10th season of ARWS competition, and the second since the rebrand from the former F1RWRS moniker. Terry Hawkin will enter the season as the reigning champion, whilst MRT return as constructors' championship winners. This was the first ARWS season to cut the entry list down to 17 teams, following the bankruptcy and withdrawal of numerous teams. Eric Vincent Racing and Euromotor International were new additions to the grid, and there were plenty of driver changes too, most notably three-time champion Mark Dagnall's move to the Kjellerup team, as 2017 winner Thomas De Bock left the series to join the reborn IndyCar Series. The series also returned to Indianapolis for the first time since 2015, adding a 500km championship event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Season Review
Pre-season testing - Jerez
Jerez would be the venue for both of the official public pre-season tests, and as the paddock descended on the Spanish circuit the air was awash with optimism for the season ahead - 2018 had ended on a high, with Terry Hawkin being the first world champion from an official feeder series, and the likes of Kjellerup and Fusion challenging the establishment. The optimism soon faded slightly, as the Kjellerup pairing of Bastiaan van Nieuwenhuijzen and Mark Dagnall immediately jumped to the top of the timing screens, and would stay there for both tests. However, the rest of the paddock were not left scratching heads, as several of the front running teams were waiting for B-spec chassis to be unveiled. sOf the new teams, Eric Vincent Racing impressed the most, posting respectable times to finish mid-table. However, the same could not be said for Euromotor, whose outdated chassis left them languishing at the bottom of the table.
