The Australian Grand Prix is a race on the Formula One calendar.
The race was held sporadically in the early years of the World Championship, first held in 1952 on the Leyburn Circuit in Queensland, then being held in 1958 at Albert Park in order to capitalise on the success of Jack Brabham. The race returned in the mid-1980s on the Adelaide Street Circuit before moving to Albert Park in Melbourne in 1996. The Formula One and ARWS split caused Australia to disappear from the calendar in the early 2010s before Surfer's Paradise started hosting the Grand Prix in 2017, before returning to Melbourne in 2019.
