Lando Norris (born 13th November, 1999 in Bristol, United Kingdom) is a British Formula One driver currently racing for the AT&T Caterham F1 Team. Boasting an impressive junior series background, Norris is considered one of the most promising young talents in the world today.

Early career

Norris's career began, like many young drivers in the UK, in the BTCC-supporting Ginetta Junior series - where he'd finish the season in third place. He then spent the next few years in Formula 4 and domestic Formula 3 series before stepping up to Formula 2 in 2019.

In 2019, Norris came second in the FIA F2 World Championship to Indian driver Victoria Desai - taking nine wins throughout the year.

2020-: Caterham

With the departure of Lewis Hamilton from Formula One, Caterham saw fit to blood a young driver into their second seat alongside Sebastian Vettel. Norris was selected and immediately repaid the team's faith by winning the season-opening Australian Grand Prix - becoming one of the few drivers to have won their first race in F1. This would be the only win for the young driver in 2020, finishing his first year in an impressive fifth place overall.

Norris remained at the team in 2021 and took a second win in the series at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
