The 1992 World Touring Car Masters season was the fifth season of the FIA World Touring Car Masters. The season was the second to be competed under the FIA's Super Touring ruleset. Silvio Bachot entered the season as defending champion, having switched teams from Tauber Motorsport to Vic Lee Motorsport. Ford and Mercedes left as manufacturers, while Audi rejoined. Lada, in a partnership with Peter Brock, entered the touring car scene for the first time, having homologated a Samara for the Super Touring regulations.
