Lennart König

Lennart König (born 1st April, 1957 in Limbach-Oberfrohna, East Germany) is a German engineer and former racing driver. König is team principal of ICE-3 Racing.

During the 1980s and 1990s, König was a semi-notable touring car driver initially in the DDR Touring Car series with Trabant, Skoda & Melkus cars domestically and later in the World Touring Car Masters with his own team running Alfa Romeo and Opel vehicles.

In the mid-2000s, König was a part of the consortium who sought to bring back the Melkus marque but the company folded in 2018.
