The 2016 F1 Rejects Masters was a special race organised by the Swiss Finanz-Sichereit Konglomerat, which featured some of the most successful Reject Motorsport drivers ever. It was the first successful running of this concept after two failed attempts in 2015.

The race was won by Daniel Melville.

The race took place on a reversed version of the 4.1-mile (6.6 km) "Black" configuration (i.e. full track) of the Fern Bay Circuit in Jamaica, featuring major sponsorship from the Tropican government and companies in close association with it. The race length was 25 laps.

Vehicle

The vehicle used was dubbed the MRT5, which could best be described as a large go-kart. It was developed by the Melrose Racing Team Engine Workshop and features a BMW motorcycle engine and transmission.
