The 2015 F2RWRS season will be the second season of the F2RWRS.
All teams used a Lola chassis and Michelin tyres.
There were five engine suppliers this season, BMW, Lancia, Holden, Audi and Aston Martin.

- 1 - RonDen Engineering will be running the Lancia 015 engines, which will be rebadged as Zastavas for commercial reasons.
- 2 - Laurent Seron and Eric Swerts were to run part-time programs in the F2RWRS for 2015 after Seron disappointed in his return the previous year. However, after setting alarmingly slow testing times during a private test, Seron was fired from the team and hastily replaced by Gregor Pascal. Their schedules will be announced following the announcement of the F3RWRS schedule.
- 3 - Johannes Rueckert received a one race ban for dangerous driving at the 2014 season ending FedEx 100 which will be enforced at the Tasman GP. He will be replaced by former F1RWRS driver Phil McCracken for that race only.
- 4 - Niko Bellic was initially signed to drive for AeroRacing before both he and Tanner Jason had their competition licenses revoked by the F2RWRS Commissioner Tom Douglas due to a rule infringement. Douglas later restored the license of Jason when Bellic was sacked by the team.
- 5 - Michael Robertson suffered a sprained ankle in an accident during the Turkish Grand Prix and, with the short turnaround to the following race at Monaco, was declared unfit to race. American F3RWRS driver Dan Greenlaw was drafted in as his replacement
- 6 - Alberto Cara was given a race ban by the stewards for his driving at the South African and Turkish races. His replacement will be announced at a later date.
- 7 - After his poor performances in the first few races of the year, Tommy Nash was rested for three races by Mark Skaife. Zimsport F3RWRS driver Daniel Melville was named his replacement for Monaco and France with another yet to be named driver filling in for Nash at the British Grand Prix
