David Ernest Anderson, commonly known as Dave Anderson (born September 25, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee, United States) is an American racing driver that is currently competing in the Formula 2 Rejects World Race Series.

Career

Anderson started karting in 1992, and after that, he ventured into various American racing series. He entered IndyCar in 2002, with up-and-downhill results there. He had some attempts to be competitive there, but always shafted with small teams. In Indy 500 he often failed to finish the race, despite his attempts. He suffered an injury after the Indy Japan 2006, but he raced again in 2007, again with the same up-and-down results.

F2RWRS

Seemingly want to gain experience in European open-wheel series, Anderson signed up for Simpson Motorsports for the newly-formed Formula 2 Rejects World Race Series in 2014. However, his poor reliability record saw him finish in the points only twice, and he was classified as the driver with least points in the standings. He attempted to find sign up for another team (he reportedly approached Falik Arrows and Jones Racing to sign him), but no-one responded and he was forced to continue with Gulf M/Power Racing, the new name of Simpson Motorsports, for 2015. He hoped that his reliabilty record will improve for 2015.
