The 1958 Formula One season was the ninth in the history of Formula One. Jack Brabham, O.S.C.A. and British Commonwealth Motorsport Association entered the season as defending champions. This season was darkened by the death of Italian driver Giulio Cabianca in an accident at the French Grand Prix.
