Alan Stacey
Alan Stacey (born 29 August 1933 in Broomfield, England) is an English racing driver who formerly took part in Formula One. Stacey made his debut for the Owen Racing Organisation in 1957, driving an O.S.C.A.-BRM alongside Jack Fairman.
Stacey scored his (and also Owen's) first Formula One point in the British Grand Prix that same year, and his performance during the season enabled Owen to get Stacey a year-old B.C.M.A. package for 1958. Stacey finished in the points three times, scored five points and finished 13th in the Drivers' Championship. His 1958 season included an outstanding drive at the British Grand Prix, eventually succumbing to a gearbox failure in the final few laps as he was running in second place.
