Olivier Gendebien (born 12 January 1924 in Brussels, died 2 October 1998 in Les Baux-de-Provence, France) was a Belgian racing driver. Widely regarded as one of the greatest sportscar drivers of all time, his F1 career started before his sportscar success really took off. Making his début in 1953 shortly after a local victory in Spa, he occasionally took up driving duties for Ecurie Nationale Belge, then for Cooper, before reaching further success around 1960, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times.
His first Formula One points (and also fastest lap) came at the 1958 Italian Grand Prix, where he finished fifth.
