Piero Taruffi (born 12 October 1906 in Albano Laziale, died 12 January 1988 in Rome) was an Italian racing driver who competed in Formula 1 from 1950 to 1954. Initially a motorcycle racer, Taruffi became an extremely accomplished sportscar racer who could never quite transfer his success to Formula One. Through his career, he competed for Maserati, Metcalf, Jaguar-Aston Martin Racing and O.S.C.A. (then Scuderia Anglo-Italia), scoring two podiums (both in 1953) and 12 points.
