Piero Taruffi (born 12 October 1906 in Albano Laziale, died 12 January 1988 in Rome) was an Italian racing driver who competed in Formula 1 from 1950 to 1954. Competing for Maserati, Metcalf, JAMR and O.S.C.A. (then Anglo-Italia), scoring two podiums and 12 points. He was severely injured in an accident during the 1954 Swiss Grand Prix and subsequently retired from motor racing at the age of 47.
