Revision as of 07:07, 7 February 2013
The 2015 Aston 24 Hours was the first running of this special 24-hour endurance event, held on the Aston Grand Touring course. It was organized by NVRT Holdings, the company behind Rejects of LFS, a month after the 2015 Rejects of LFS season finale. The RoLFS season had been marred by the death of Nobushige Fukuda at the penultimate race of the season, an event that ultimately led to the dissolving of RoLFS completely and the creation of a completely new series that would utilize a completely different spec car, rules package and more famous tracks around the world. This put the future of Aston 24 Hours in doubt before even the first running of it had taken place.
Entry list
The entry list was capped at 20 entrants, with each team required to have three drivers to share the driving duties. The teams chose their cars from three powerful GTR touring cars, with each model limited to supply a maximum of seven teams.
