Rusty Gannit (born May 17, 1981) is an American racing driver who competed in the Formula 1 Rejects World Race Series. Gannit filled in for the suspended Rhys Davies at the NAB-Holden Racing Team. He competed in only one race: the 2012 F1RWRS English Grand Prix at Snetterton. Gannit failed to pre-qualify, returning to America after throwing a tantrum. He has not returned to F1RWRS since and currently holds the record for the shortest F1RWRS career ever. In 2014, Gannit won the 2014 Coco-Cola 600, his first win in a major motorsports category. In 2015, Gannit competed in the F1 Rejects Indy Championship Series for Roush-Yates Racing and was surprisingly successful. His finest achievement came when he took victory in the Amazon 200 in Vancouver despite his limited experience on road courses (as in virtually none). Gannit responded with typical candor, stating: "If y'all are upset, just blame Canada!".
