Report:
After yesterday, nobody would have expected Williams to interfer in the battle between Ferrari and Caterham. However, as we have learned, you may never count out the British team. Their press department was highly confident before Sunday’s qualifying. As it turned out, they were more than justified in their confidence: the team more than delivered on the promises.
It was Dave Cassidy, who denied Ferrari their second consecutive win. Nathan McKane had a great run after beating Daniil Kwjat off the line, matching the fate the Russian suffered at the hand of SebastiĆ©n Bourdais in Saturday’s race. The race was also a time of chaos, as Fernando Alonso, in an unusual lack of sportsmanship, forced Pagenaud off the track. It is a major miracle, owned to Pagenaud’s oval experience, that nobody got injured.
This unacceptable behavior in addition to a racing incident with Robert Kubica down the road means that Fernando Alonso will serve a ban at the first Hungarian Grand Prix of 2017. Regrettably, Pagenaud was denied a heroic comeback, as a car failure on the final lap ended his shot at scoring points. At least Sauber had Pastor Maldonado’s car finish in sixth position.
While an open battle for the lead was denied to us after the first two thirds of the race, third place was fought for with ruthlessness and efficiency. Daniil Kwjat refused to drop even further after being punked by both McKane and Cassidy early in the race. Regrettably, his refusal meant little: Sebastian Vettel and Will Power moved ahead and fought their own war.

Infinite Improbability Drive Of The Race:
Davide Valsecchi – He secured eight place in a lower midfield car with inferior engine, that is nice
Reject Of The Race:
Fernando Alonso – This drive is something you expect from a South American paydriver, not one of the most experienced drivers in F1 history.
