Report:

Unusual Formula One history was written in the last three Grands Prix: it is questionable whether three consecutive races with identical top fours have ever been this exciting. Yes, despite everything that happened during the race, Lewis Hamilton once more finished ahead of Jules Bianchi, Sebastian Vettel and Salvatore Miccoli.

During qualifying, this looked like an unlikely outcome, the Precisions were in control and managed a 1-2 on the grid. Dave Cassidy easily kept the lead and was in a thrilling fight against Lewis Hamilton, when his Continental tyres suffered a race-ending blowout, a retirement that will truly hurt Dave’s chances of winning the title.

Jules Bianchi overcame Sebastian Vettel with a great move, but just ran out of time to pass Lewis Hamilton as well. Behind the top four, Kevin Magnussen had to work hard to overcome a silly pitlane mistake. In the end, he managed to beat Daniel Ricciardo, who was also doing an extremely impressive job behind the wheel.

Behind them, the points were much desired. Stoffel Vandoorne even ran his own teammate off the track to get into the top 10. Daniel Melrose punished him for that by cutting him off at the pit exit. Melrose went on to score three points for Holden, with his teammate in 11th, keeping the Williams of Bottas behind, who, like his team, suffered a dreadful weekend.
