Formula One

2017-2019: Team Calinetic

Verstappen made his Grand Prix debut in 2017 - signing for Calinetic on a two year deal. His best results for the team came in his second season, when he scored a pair of third place finishes. Verstappen's deal was extended by a year into 2019 but a lacklustre season saw him out of a drive at the end of the year.

2021-: Red Bull

A successful 2020 in DTM with Audi saw him return to the F1 grid with Red Bull Racing alongside Formula Two champion Roger Ibe in 2021. Verstappen was a regular points scorer in 2021 despite the Red Bull being a fairly modest vehicle by their usual standards, finishing the season 11th place overall.

In 2022, Verstappen won his first Formula One race at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix when Ferrari's Alexander Albon was given a time penalty to drop him behind Verstappen.
