The 1991 Life Grande Prêmio do Brasil was held at Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet on December 1, 1991. It was the first and only non-championship race during the season. As such, some of the regular 1991 teams decided not to take part. Instead, the race saw many first-time entrants willing to get some experience from the series before entering full-time in the next season.
