The 2014 Formula 2 Rejects World Race Series season was the first season of the F2RWRS Series, a feeder series for the F1RWRS Series. The season took place over 15 races in Europe and North America. The championship was won by Australian Mitchell Macklin with part-time driver Terry Hawkin winning the marquee Fedex 100.

1 - In the season opening race in Turkey, Laurent Seron and Andrej Kremnicky were involved in a sickening 190mph accident which put both of them out for several races due to injury. Seron was replaced by F3RWRS driver Terry Hawkin whilst Kremnicky's replacement was Dutchman Micko Glotch.

2 - KitKat boss Chris Dagnall invoked a performance clause in Giconi Okorie's contract which meant that former F1RWRS driver Phil McCracken would make a comeback in the F2RWRS from the British GP onwards.

3 - Mark Skaife sacked George Liquor on the back of Tommy Nash's win at Silverstone and replaced him with F3RWRS driver Jason Hamilton from Round 5 onwards.

4 - McCracken performed poorly and fellow Scuderia Alitalia driver Bastiaan van Nieuwenhuijzen replaced him.

5 - When Trueba was bought by Scuderia Alitalia, a protest by other teams on the entry waiting list saw a merger between Alitalia and Jones Racing created to run the team until the end of the year. Bizzarri was kept, but Lei was sacked and replaced by Hawkin.

6 - After running over a marshal at the Belgian Grand Prix, Sani Morgan was banned by the F1RWRS commission for a race and replaced by Jones Racing F3RWRS driver Eric Swerts

7 - Tanner Jason violated his probation from the German Grand Prix by passing under yellow flags at the Hungarian Grand Prix and was benched for the next 2 events as a result. He was replaced by Brazilian World Series by Renault competitor Raul Souto Maior.

8 - Morgan was sacked by the Falik Arrows team in the wake of several poor performances and was replaced by Falik F3RWRS driver Yuka Katayama. Most official documents and race results spelt her first name as Yuko until Dave Anderson contacted the organizers regarding the mistake just before the qualifying of the Indianapolis 100.

9 - Hawkin's manager Sammy Jones decided to let his protegee focus on competing for the F3RWRS title which he still had a mathematical chance of winning. He was replaced by Irishman Connor O'Heagan for Spain and Canada.
