The 1994 Rejects-1 Grand Prix of United States was the first race of the newly founded Rejects-1 World Championship after Life GP's demise at the end of 1993.
It was held at Sebring International Raceway on April 3, 1994.
Report
The race was won by Jan van der Maeyede of Al Smith Racing Enterprises from pole position. The British drivers, who made around 25% of the grid, were unfortunately all struck down by various technical failures, as was most of the other drivers the grid, whilst Jorg Scrattenheim sent Sam Winton into the wall, ending his race. Scrattenheim was accused of being a danger on-track by the Union Saver Developments principal. Their only classified driver at the end was Rachel Graham. She suffered an engine failure, but having completed more than 90% of the race distance, was classified 16th.
Only 40% of the grid actually was classified.
