Deanna McMahon
Deanna McMahon (née Hunter) is a British racing driver who has competed in a number of series. As well as being the owner of Hunter Autosport
Career
Deanna began karting at the age 7 competing in a number of series in the United Kingdom. in 1991 in the hope of becoming a Formula One driver she stepped up to the British Formula Ford Championship before stepping up the British Formula 3 championship. 1993 saw her and the Hunter team compete in the Life GP series she ended the season 15th in the championship scoring 2 podiums. 1994 saw life gp become Rejects-1 driving a Lamborghini 291 she fell to 21st in the championship with a best result of third and the German round. 1995 saw a switch to Fondmetal GR02 chassis which was much more competitive and Deanna took her first win in the 5th round in New Zealand. 2 more podiums which included another win in Portugal saw her finish 4th in the Championship. 1995 saw a downturn in performance only scoring 2 podiums and finishing 19th in the standings. She was signed by Minardi for the 1999 F1RGP2C season however she struggled to qualify only making the grid for 6 of the 17 races, 200 saw her compete in the BTCC in a Renault Laguna before campaigning the car in the 2001 STCC. She took time out of racing between 2002-2007 to have children. 2008 saw a return to racing in the British GT Championship. Between 2009 and 2010 she competed in the GT2 class of the LMS series before stepping up to the LMP2 class. During 2017 she competed in the Le Mans Cup as well as driving for 2 rounds in the ARST.

She is the second child of former racing driver Jonathon Hunter her elder brother Adam Also runs Hunter Autosport She Married her husband Daniel in January 1993 they have 2 children born in 2002 and 2006
