Rudolf "Rudi" Fischer (born 19 April 1912 in Stuttgart, Germany, died 30 December 1976 in Luzern) was a Swiss racing driver. Founder of Écurie Espadon, Fischer began racing in around 1947. He finished second in the 1948 West Swiss GP. His F1 début came at the 1950 Swiss Grand Prix driving for Motorsport Bleu, where he finished tenth and earned a drive for the tail end of the 1951. Fischer stunned the field in the 1951 German Grand Prix, but although he would lead 3 laps and eventually finish third his best finish would come at the non-championship 1954 Syracuse Grand Prix, in which he would come home second for the Balkan Lion outfit.
