Alfa Romeo S.p.A. are an Italian auto maker and constructor based in Milan, Italy.
A dominant force in the early years of Formula One, Alfa Romeo have won the driver's championship three times; in 1950, 1951 and 1955 as well as the constructor's title in 1955.
In the mid-to-late 1970s, Alfa Romeo were also engine suppliers to several teams including Brabham, Penske, Shadow and Ensign.
