Roger August Loyer (born 5 August 1907 in Paris, died 24 March 1988 in Boulogne-Billancourt) was a French racing driver who competed in Formula One in 1950 and 1955. A successful motorcycle racer from the 1930s to the late 1950s, Loyer notably won two French Grands Prix on two wheels, before switching to open wheel racing in 1947. He drove for Scuderia Maremmana in the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix, qualifying fifth and running in the points before his early retirement. This remained his only Grand Prix start, aside from the non-championship 1954 Pau Grand Prix, until the 1955 season, when he was signed part-time by the Austrian Loyer Racing team run by Hermann Loyer (no relation). There, he scored the team's best result in the 1955 Soviet Grand Prix, finishing eighth, less than a second behind a points position.
