The Peak Motorsport Group (or PMG) is an international motorsport consortium based primarily in Auckland, New Zealand.

History

The Peak Motorsport Group was formed in early 2006 by Canadian native Edward Summers, a prominent businessman. It entered the 2007 Alternate GP2 season as "Peak Motorsport Canada", with its workshop in Vancouver.

The High Performance Group was formed at the beginning of 2016 by Raymond Douglas (head of the Douglas Media Group), Dominic Spearman (CEO of Spearman Industries) and Craig Harris (founder/CEO, Harris Finance).

PMG and HPG merged at the beginning of 2017, with Ziegler Holdings (Alvin Ziegler) and the Clark Corporation (The Clark family) also buying out the shareholdings held by Douglas and Spearman.

Operations

The headquarters of PMG is in Auckland, New Zealand along with their main workshop. Other workshops are located in Berlin (Ziegler Auto Racing), Vancouver (Peak Motorsport Canada) and Grenoble (Mont Blanc Racing).

The group currently run three racing teams - Peak Motorsport, the open wheel team, the Mont Blanc Racing endurance racing squad and the Ziegler Auto Racing touring car operation. They also ran the Everest Rally Team during 2016, but as the Rejects Rallycross Championship and the Reject Rally Trophy both collapsed, that division was shut down.
