Santiago Urrutia Lausarot (born 30 August 1996 in Miguelete, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan racing driver currently competing in Formula One for the Shougang WilliamsF1 Team.

Formula One

2019-: Williams

Urrutia made his debut with Williams in 2019, racing alongside fellow rookie and 2018 Formula 2 World Champion Marvin Kirchhöfer. Expectations were low for the British team - and these were matched with a frankly woeful season for both drivers. Urrutia managed to eak out the only real result of the year - a seventh place at the Japanese Grand Prix.

Despite this calamity of a season, both drivers remained at Williams in 2020.
