The 1992 Life Grand Prix Series season was the second season of the Life Grand Prix Series. The total number of entries was risen to 41 from the 30 regular entries that was seen in the previous season. To accomodate all of the new entries, a special prequalifying session was held on each Friday afternoon, and only 28 cars in total were allowed to start the race. The only exception to this rule was the Swiss SuperPrix, where all 41 cars were allowed to start the race. Due to pressure from FISA, the series was forced to abandon all circuits that were used by Formula One during the same year. Despite this, the amount of championship races was increased by one to a total of 19.

Notes:
- 1 - Psycho Mantis suffered a serious accident at the Argentine GP, and was replaced by the team's test driver Kenneth Baker for the duration of his injury.
- 2 - Jules Connes replaced Matthias Kjellerup for the Spanish and French GPs for sponsorship reasons.
