Porsche is a German car manufacturer that has at various points in time been involved in Formula One in some capacity, either as an outright works team or as an engine supplier.

Porsche would field their own works team in the 1960s, before returning for two separate stints as an engine supplier: first as part of the TAG-Porsche consortium in the Turbo Era from 1981 onwards, then around a decade later supplying engines to the Rial team from 1991 to 1992, with the engines remaining in use in some capacity until 1994.

Now part of the Volkswagen Group, fellow VW marque Audi would then go on to join the sport in the present day, taking over the Sauber team as a works outfit in 2024.
