Nissan Motor Corporation, often shortened to Nissan, is a Japanese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Yokohama, Japan.

The company have undertaken many forays into motorsports, with notable examples being a Formula One engine programme in the early 1980s and a works team in World Touring Car Masters in the early 1990s.

A traditional competitor in the local racing scene with stints in the JSPC and JGTC/Super GT, Nissan announced that they would be joining Super Formula as a third engine manufacturer in 2023.
