1998, 2000: Benetton-Arrows

By 1998, Wurz was racing for the Benetton Arrows team alongside Giancarlo Fisichella. Wurz managed two points scores - his best being a fifth in the Spanish Grand Prix before he was replaced by Rubens Barrichello after the British Grand Prix.

Wurz and Fisichella were reunited two years later when they were both resigned by Arrows in 2000. Wurz was a regular points scorer in this season, even managing a career-best second place finish in the European Grand Prix. Wurz finished the season in seventh place overall and was on the radar of several big teams for 2001.
