Warped Touring Car Series

Warped Touring Car Series, abberivated WTCS, is a touring car series run on xkoranate. The series involves early 90s Group A touring cars racing in fictional courses of racing games; thus, the series are set "beyond time and space".

The first and the current season is Warped Touring Car Series (season 1).

History

Not much is known about the background history of the series. However, some point to an British constorium buying out some old Group A and and old DTM touring cars as well as some Super Taikyu-spec Subaru Impreza WRX Sport Wagons, as well as some other equipment related to series organization, such as transporters, in early 2010s. Notably, they were given out an oddball choice for the safety car, a heavily tuned Toyota WiLL VS for that purpose.

After that, the constorium discovered an abandoned, but functioning alternate reality simulator facility in Leafield. (Contary to what various conspiracy theorists said, the simulator is not the so-called Capricorn 1) With that, the team was able to salvage some discs, cartridges, and even arcade boards from various racing games, effectively causing the series to be run in the tracks of various racing games, thanks to the simulator having a "master loader" mainframe.
