Tarso Marques

Tarso Anibal Santanna Marques (born 19th January, 1976 in Curitiba, Brazil) is a Brazilian racing driver best known for his career in Formula One.

Formula One

In 1998, Marques raced for Mastercard Lola alongside Damon Hill. Marques struggled all season - his best result being seventh in a rain-hit Belgian Grand Prix.

Marques remained for a second season in 1999 but he was removed from the seat ahead of the French Grand Prix in a restructuring of the team. Marques was replaced by Deanna McMahon and was not seen in Formula One since.

Later Career

After his Formula One stint ended, Marques headed stateside and raced in Champ Car until the mid-2000s before returning back to South America to race in Argentine TC2000 and Stock Car Brasil.
