Ni Amorim

Nuno "Ni" Amorim (born 1st March, 1962 in Porto, Portugal) is a Portuguese racing driver best known for his touring car career.

Amorim mainly raced domestically in Portugal for most of his career, winning the Portuguese Touring Car Championship in 1987, 1989 and 1990. Amorim stepped into the WTCM for the first time in 1989 with the Luigi Racing team but failed to qualify his BMW 635 on any occasion. A year later he was called upon by the works Mitsubishi team at the Lagos round of the championship but once again he failed to qualify.

In 1991, Amorim joined the Courage Compétition team for the last five rounds of the season when regular driver Fabien Giroix joined BMW.
