Eliseo Salazar Valenzuela (born 14th November, 1954 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean former racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One.

Formula One

1987: Tyrrell

Salazar was drafted in by the Data General Team Tyrrell outfit for the 1987 Japanese Grand Prix when regular driver Jonathan Palmer was injured and unable to fly to the venue. Salazar finished the race in 13th.

Other Series

Salazar finished fourth overall in the 1988 International F3000 season, taking one win at Brands Hatch.

Salazar remains a popular motorsport figure to this day in Chile, competing in domestic rallies and competitions on a regular basis.
