The 1995 Italian Formula One Championship was the eighth season of the of Italian Formula One Championship. It would see yet another Championship double for Gerhard Berger and Ferrari, with the former becoming the first three-time Champion. This season saw something of a resurgence, with a third team - Forti Corse - become the new backmarkers. Moreover the Indoor Trophy was back on after a year's hiatus in 1994. It would be contested by eleven drivers across those three teams.

Calendar

As usual, the calendar was due to contain the four core events of the San Marino, Monaco and Italian Grands Prix, in addition to the Indoor Trophy. On this occasion, the two additional events selected to complete the calendar were the French Grand Prix at the Magny-Cours and the Portuguese Grand Prix at Estoril.
