PMG logo

The Peak Motorsport Group (PMG) is an international motorsport consortium based primarily in Auckland, New Zealand, but also with branches in France (Grenoble), Canada (Vancouver), USA (Austin), and Germany (Berlin). The group was founded during the 2016 RWRS season.

History

Peak Motorsport was formed in May 2006 by Canadian businessman Edward Summers and entered the 2007 GP2 series as "Peak Motorsport Canada", based in Vancouver.

The High Performance Group was formed in 2016 by Raymond Douglas (the head of the Douglas Media Group) and Dominic Spearman (the CEO of Spearman Industries). Harris Finance sponsored the team.

HPG bought Peak Motorsport Canada in early 2016 and consolidated it into the group. Edward Summers was given a 10% stake in the Group. HPG itself was later bought out in early 2017 by a consortium consisting of Harris Finance (The Harris family), Clark Corporation (The Clark family) and Ziegler Holdings (The Ziegler family) and renamed to Peak Motorsport Group.
