Racing Career

Rallying

Leifeld made her first steps into motorsport at the age of 14, acting as a co-driver in the ADAC Opel Adam Rallye Cup in her native Germany. She would take several class wins alongside fellow Bavarian Klaus Heider and quickly gained recognition from her ADAC authority as a rising star in rallying. She took part in a few RX Lite races (supporting the European Rallycross series) in 2017 and achieved two wins.

Formula 4

In 2018, she joined the Italian Formula 4 with Basque team Abiadura Euskara with support from ADAC Nordbayern. She achieved a third place in her second meeting at Autodromo Pergusa.

AR2.0

In October 2018, she took part in a test with Belgian AutoReject 2.0 team RonDen Racing Engineering at Motorland Aragón. She achieved a decent time which led to her being signed by the team for the 2019 season alongside Kenny Rosseels.

Leifeld's AR2.0 career got off to a great start, taking pole in the season opener in Valencia, which she followed up in Monza by taking her first car racing win in the Sprint race. Her initial success at this level saw her be selected by the Red Bull Junior Team.

RonDen opted to leave AR2.0 ahead of 2020 - so Leifeld joined Peak Aeroracing Engineering instead.
