Abiadura Euskara is a Spanish racing team headquartered in Eibar, Basque Country. The team currently competes in Italian Formula 4 and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Former Equipe Gauthier principal and Formula One World Champion Guillaume Gauthier works with the team in an advisory role.
Identity
The team is built around the Basque identity in a similar fashion to Bilbao-based football team Athletic Club and professional cycling team Euskaltel–Euskadi. Team founder Iñaki Burionagonatotorecagageazcoechea has expressed interest in a 'cantera policy' for his team in the future, however at this current time the team hires drivers from outside the Basque region.
