Alexander Albon (born 23rd March, 1996 in London, England) is a Thai-British racing driver currently racing in Formula One for Ebro Foods Dawson GP.

He is the son of former Touring Car driver Nigel Albon.

Formula One

2019: Holden

Albon made his Formula One debut with the Holden Racing Team and was an occasional points scorer alongside veteran Romain Grosjean - his best result being a fourth place in the British Grand Prix. Unfortunately for Albon, Holden suddenly withdrew from the sport after the Hungarian Grand Prix - effectively ending his season and leaving him on the sidelines.

2020: Dawson GP

Albon found refuge at Dawson GP the following year alongside Frenchman Pierre Gasly. Albon was once again a solid midfield runner in what was one of the worst cars on the grid - scoring on a handful of occasions to finish the year in eighteenth overall.

2021-: Ferrari

After his quietly impressive season in 2020, Albon was signed by Scuderia Ferrari to partner Dave Cassidy at the team in 2021.
