Squadra Toro Rosso (Italian for Team Red Bull) was an Italian Formula One team that operated between 2006 and 2009. The team operated as Minardi before it was purchased by Red Bull GmbH in late 2005 to act as the junior team to Red Bull Racing. The team was seen by many as the final step of the Red Bull Junior Team driver development programme which has seen several successes throughout the years.
