Tommy Nash (born October 14, 1994 in Winnipeg, Canada) is a driver for the F2RWRS team Holden Young Lions. He also drove a one-off race in the 2013 F1RWRS Brazilian GP and two more the next year.

Racing Career

Nash started karting at the age of 13. Despite his late entry into motorsport, he quickly caught on, and by 18 he was cited as one of the best up-and-coming racing drivers. Before he even turned 20, Nash got a one-off at GRM, most likely being a pay-driver. He finished 13th.

He also replaced Frank Zimmer during his suspension for two races in Belgium and Italy.

F2RWRS

Before he got signed for GRM he already had a contract in F2RWRS with Holden Young Lions. Nash started off the season by crashing at the first corner. Despite this, he scored 4 points within two races in Monaco and France. At Silverstone, Nash became the first person to win a race that wasn't Mitchell Macklin, and his dominant performance over his teammate George Liquor led to Liquor's sacking.

Other than that, Nash did not have any other notable results to put in for the season, primarily because of the teams' bad luck and sometimes unreliable cars. He was signed on for another year with Holden for 2015. However, after three races, Nash was benched in favour of Daniel Melville. Nash, being infuriated by this and the fact that he hadn't gotten a full-time driver with HRT in the F1RWRS, left the team and joined Aston Martin Motor Racing from Britain onwards. His first race nearly resulted in a fourth place, only to go off with a few laps to go. Nash placed eighth in the end, but former teammate Carter Simpson, furious that his team got sent down to Pre-Qualifying, initiated a brawl between the two. Nash had another fourth place in the books in Italy only for a tactical blunder within the team causing Nash to go down to sixth place. Nash was unimpressive otherwise and was replaced by Alessandro Marchesi near the end of the season.

In the USA GP, Nash got turned hard into a corner by Ryan Zimmer, breaking his left leg and causing a "strong concussion." The injuries were so severe that he decided to retire from open wheeled racing, given the circumstances.
