The team were most notable for running a sponsorless, self-built car competitively for notorious playboy James Hunt, with some success until late 1975, with him and the eponymous lord departing from the team. After this blow, the team took a nosedive in fortunes they would never recover from, with financial issues plaguing the team's increasing futile attempts to qualify in its final years.
