Julian Douglas Clark (born 16 June 1996 in Glasgow) is a Scottish racing driver currently contracted to Peak Driver Talent, the driver management arm of the Peak Motorsport Group. He currently drives for Ziegler Auto Racing in AutoReject Super Touring. He also has competed in F1 Rejects Super Touring Cup and the 2017 Macau Touring Masters.
Career
Clark's first motorsport experience was racing in karts when he was 8. After some major successes in karts, including several wins, Clark was signed by Peak Driver Talent in 2008 at the age of 12. Peak have managed his career from then on, gaining him seats in sprintcars, touring cars and various other series in the years following.
Clark was signed by Onyx Toyota Racing to compete in the RTCC for 2016 at the age of 18, replacing Marisa Carrera before the Round of Scotland at Knockhill. He had a best finish of 13th for the season scoring three points.
Clark stayed in RTCC for 2017 as it transformed into ARST, but moved to Ziegler Auto Racing, a team owned by fellow PMG driver Alvin Ziegler, who became his team mate. Clark will drive the #23 DHL BMW M3 in the Privateer Cup. Clark would have a great season, finishing tenth in the final standings. However, his season would be cut short by a disqualification for an incident at the Round of the Czech Republic that saw him excluded from the last two rounds of the season.
He would be promoted into the France round of the Championship division after good placings in the Privateer round and would finish 15th and 18th, scoring 11 points.
Clark would remain in the #23 for the 2018 International Pro Car season after being replaced by Kristina Harris for the first two rounds due to his disqualification. He is currently 14th in the B-Class standings and 54th in the A-Class standings with 154 and 12 points respectively
