Revision as of 18:29, 15 April 2014
This article is about the group itself. For the team, see Peak Motorsport.
The Peak Motorsport Group (abbreviated to PMG) is a New Zealand motorsport consortium founded in 2016.
History
The High Performance Group was formed in 2016 by businessmen Raymond Douglas (head of the Douglas Media Group), Craig Harris (owner of Harris Finance), and Dominic Spearman (CEO of Spearman Industries). It competed in the F1 Rejects Super Touring Cup, Rejects Rallycross Championship, and the Lupo GTI Championship.
In the off-season between 2016 and 2017, Spearman and Douglas sold their shares to British supermarket magnate Roger Clark (father of Julian) and Mexican telecommunications mogul Carlos Slim. The group was renamed as the Peak Motorsport Group.
Operations
The Peak Motorsport Group is based in Auckland, New Zealand (although Glacier Mont Blanc Racing is based in Grenoble, France). They operate three racing teams, an engine division known as Peak Motorsport Engines, and a driver management arm known as Peak Driver Talent.
Racing operations
For more information, see Peak Motorsport, Everest Rally Team, and Glacier Mont Blanc Racing.
