2015 Community Racing Series season
The 2015 Community Racing Series season was the first season of the Community Racing Series, a series created by Herbert Loyer of Loyer Racing Technologies based on the former Formula Community series.
The series is funded mostly by the teams ($2.435 million investment), who bought shares in voting power in the series from Loyer. Thus, 50% of the series is owned by the teams and 50% by Loyer himself ($1 million investment). However, Loyer has no voting power.
Each team started with a budget of $500,000.

Voting
Every part of the series is determined by voting among the teams. Each team's voting power is dependent on the value of the shares that they hold (see above). After voting, the decision that had the highest voting power invested is chosen.

The first issue voted upon was on which continent the series should be based.
This vote does not rule out the option of also holding races on other continents, but merely decides where the majority of races should be held.
